Eligibility for NIOS Secondary (10th Standard)
The learner must have completed 14 years of age.
Students who have failed, dropped out, or discontinued regular schooling are eligible.
Admission is granted as per NIOS norms.
Eligibility for NIOS Senior Secondary (12th Standard)
The learner must have passed 10th Standard from a recognized board.
Minimum age requirement is 16 years.
Students from CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, as well as failed, private, and dropout candidates, are eligible.
Subject selection must comply with NIOS regulations.
General Guidelines
Admissions are offered under NIOS Streams 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Students must meet subject-specific eligibility for competitive exams and government jobs, wherever applicable.
